5.9.2023 | Enligt en färsk undersökning finns det minst 1 500 företag i Finland som äger eller utvecklar kritisk teknik. Kritisk teknik i företagen är till exempel säkerhets- och mobilteknik. Merparten av dessa företag är i inhemsk ägo. Undersökningen gav inga indikationer på att den kritiska tekniken skulle bidra särskilt till att öka företagens exponering för utländska förvärv. I framtiden bör dock större uppmärksamhet fästas vid säkerhetskonsekvenserna vid företagsförvärv.

22.6.2021 | Enligt en utredning som offentliggjordes den 22 juni kommer forskningen och utvecklingen (FoU) i Finland att öka. Den FoU-intensitet på 4 procent som regeringen har satt som mål kommer dock inte i nuläget att uppnås före 2030. Enligt utredningen är Sverige, de baltiska länderna och Tyskland Finlands största konkurrenter bland de länder där företag inleder FoU-verksamhet.
