19.3.2019 | Finland har föresatt sig att nå de 17 målen för hållbar utveckling (Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals) senast 2030. I en hållbarhetsjämförelse mellan FN:s medlemsländer från 2018 placerade sig Finland på tredje plats, och landet har ett starkt rykte som en global vägvisare när det gäller att främja hållbar utveckling. Mycket återstår dock att göra innan målen för Agenda 2030 har uppnåtts.

25.5.2020 | Kommunernas arbete för hållbar utveckling har en viktig roll när det gäller att genomföra Agenda 2030 och de globala målen för hållbar utveckling i Finland. I en studie som publicerades den 25 maj framhävs kommunalvalet 2021 och upprättandet av kommunernas strategier efter valet som kritiska tillfällen med tanke på uppnåendet av målen. Kommunernas strategier bör ligga i linje med de globala och nationella målen för hållbar utveckling.

Finland was ranked third best in the assessment of sustainability in all UN Member States published in 2018, and Finland also has a strong reputation as a global leader in sustainable development work. Yet, we have a long way to go to achieve the 2030 Agenda goals.
